Manager – Content
Scott is beginning his second year on the AMA Colorado Board serving as a Manager of Content. After 10+ years on the administrative side of multiple outdoor-related non-profits, Scott made the switch to digital marketing while concurrently working on a master at the University of Denver. Scott has worked in marketing with organizations of various sizes and industries, including Cabela’s, Hanapin Marketing, Morris Animal Foundation, Paladina Health, and Transamerica. An innate curiosity has led Scott to work in paid search (PPC), social media, CMS maintenance, content creation/management, email, and analytics.
Scott has climbed Kilimanjaro (highest peak in Africa), Ben Nevis (highest peak in the United Kingdom), the Camino de Santiago (Spain), and 42 of the Colorado “fourteeners”. Scott sees each of these as opportunities to lean into the discomfort while conquering the challenge through calculated risks.
